Family Support

Trish, Family Support Officer

I am usually the first point of contact for new families as I organize and lead the Non-Prejudiced Visits to school. I also conduct home visits for our new starters and advise on applying for transport and support with the transition into school.

I have a strong partnership with the Children, Family and Wellbeing Service and provide targeted support with practical and financial needs.

We are currently collaborating with Lancashire's Family Hub Network to enhance support for families throughout the county. This presents a valuable opportunity to expand our in-house early help services, allowing us to assist families beyond the local West Lancashire area. We are also excited to partner with other schools and community services to further develop early help initiatives across Lancashire.
